The following departments and groups operate within the Center, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the IPC:
  • Information Technology Department is responsible for the development, maintenance, and stability of the hospital’s IT infrastructure. The department implements innovative solutions such as data center modernization, new server deployment, and optimized network infrastructure to ensure high-speed data processing and security. It supports around 3,500 workstations, 220 servers, 19,500 network nodes, 3,000 telephones, and 500 Wi-Fi access points. Additionally, the department maintains a nurse call system covering more than 940 hospital beds, 15 queue management systems, 330 surveillance cameras, and a tele-surgery system spanning 9 operating rooms and 7 auditoriums. It also oversees over 800 connected medical devices, a PACS system holding 1.2 PB of medical imaging, 7,110 email accounts, and an IPTV network across the hospital. Fire and security systems in all hospital buildings are also under its care.

  • IT Project Group coordinates and implements various projects related to the development and modernization of the hospital's IT systems. The group is responsible for introducing modern innovations, including technology upgrades and the development of digital services. These innovations include café ordering systems, advanced file-sharing tools, license plate-based barrier gate systems, smart emergency call systems for ambulance teams, medical parameter monitoring systems, intelligent locker systems for staff uniforms, and infrastructure projects like new building integration and branch connectivity to hospital IT systems. These innovations enhance hospital efficiency and service quality.

  • Data Management Department manages day-to-day data operations and strives to improve data utilization. This includes analysis and storage of patient data, as well as processing and integration of research and academic data into hospital information systems. The department works closely with other units to ensure data transparency and accessibility, and provides recommendations for improving data governance. It also supports the hospital’s decision-making processes by delivering in-depth data analyses and forecasts to improve service quality and patient care management.

  • Data Inventory and Standardization Group ensures accurate data inventory and compliance with established standards, facilitating more efficient data management and storage. This is vital for maintaining data integrity and quality, especially when handling large volumes of information. The group uses modern tools and methods to streamline data processing, allowing for quick and precise data identification and organization based on institutional needs.

  • Information Department is responsible for the effective transmission and organization of information across various hospital units. It ensures that the right information reaches the right specialists swiftly and accurately, and that it is structured and easily accessible for both staff and patients. This includes managing both medical and administrative data, and facilitating seamless coordination between different IT systems to maintain fast and reliable information flow throughout the organization.

  • Information Systems Department plays a vital role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing all hospital information systems. It works with digital technologies, including e-health services and the Electronic Health Record (ELI), to ensure processes are efficient, accurate, and reliable. The ELI system enables healthcare professionals to securely and promptly access patient histories, make diagnoses, and plan treatments. The department also contributes to the deployment of additional key record-keeping solutions for patient care. By optimizing system performance and implementing advanced technologies, it improves transparency, service quality, and operational efficiency while fostering cross-departmental collaboration. The department is also actively involved in introducing technologies like artificial intelligence and automation to further streamline hospital operations.

  • IT Helpdesk Unit is a critical part of the organization, responsible for technical support and resolving all IT-related issues. Acting as a bridge between technology and daily hospital operations, the unit ensures that IT problems are resolved swiftly and effectively. This allows hospital staff—from administration to medical personnel—to focus on their core duties and deliver top-level care. The unit not only responds to technical issues but also continuously monitors infrastructure stability to ensure uninterrupted and secure functioning of digital systems. It actively pursues innovative improvements and optimization strategies to provide faster, more efficient service while maintaining the highest standards of security. The unit’s mission is to be a reliable partner to all hospital teams, enabling them to work smoothly without technological disruptions.

  • Workstation Maintenance Group plays a key role in ensuring that every employee has access to the latest technologies and a modern, efficient work environment. This team is responsible for setting up, regularly updating, and maintaining all workstations to ensure both hardware and software are up to date and operating smoothly. They ensure computers, monitors, peripherals, and other devices are properly configured, meet staff needs, and are ready for optimal use. The group monitors emerging technologies and trends to provide the most effective and innovative solutions, improving work performance and user comfort. It also manages system updates to ensure compatibility, security, and reliability, enabling staff to perform their duties efficiently and without technological barriers.
